U17 Terpsma Battled in the Gold Showcase Championship Bracket at Canada Cup...
Recently, the River City Hornets 07 U17 (Team Terpsma) traveled to Surrey, BC to attend the Canada Cup International Softball Championship. Three international teams and twenty-four U17 teams from across North America competed in this event. The ladies showed continual improvement and gained invaluable experience.
Highlights of the tournament included playing Team Mexico and Team Great Britain. The ladies also enjoyed their time together watching a variety of women’s softball games including Team Canada and Team Japan. They also made time for some beach fun and and jumped off the pier into the Pacific Ocean at White Rock.
The team battled hard in the playoffs, and were eventually eliminated in their fourth playoff game. Great work ladies!
